In this unit you will learn orthographic and isometric drawing techniques using both paper and computers.
Unit 3 – Construction
In this unit you will design and build a scale model of a back yard deck.
Unit 4 – The Bird House
In this unit you will research, design and build a birdhouse on a budget.
Unit 5 – Bridge
In this course you will use software to optimize bridge designs and then design and build your own bridge made from balsa wood.
Unit 6 – Thermal Energy
In this unit you will learn about thermal energy and how it differs from heat and temperature. Further, you will begin to build a foundational understanding of how energy flows in preparation for the Fluid Mechanics and Electrical Engineering course.
