In this unit we will quickly review the important elements from Technology & Engineering Design including the Engineering Design Process, orthographic and isometric drawing, and Sketchup. We will finish with a review of thermal energy.
In this unit you will build and study a putt putt boat to learn about hydraulics, pneumatics and propulsion systems.
In this unit you will research, design and build a balsa wood glider.
In this unit you will explore basic DC circuits, communication and AC wiring.
Teams will design, produce working drawings for and build a CO2-powered dragster to strict specifications.
This course is an introduction to programming for robots and automation. You will use ROBOTC software to program the robot to solve various challenges.
This course can be considered an extension of Robotics Coding with RobotC or a standalone course for students with coding experience. This course will explore robotics using the VEX V5 robot kits and will use software based on C++.
